Following a surge of recent news reports and social media posts, the alleged launch of an electronic visa (e-visa) system in Italy, the Embassy of Italy in Kuwait has officially denied these claims, confirming that the information is false.
In a notice published on March 15, 2026, the Embassy clarified that no such launch has been announced and warned applicants against relying on unverified sources.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to consult only official communication channels of the Italian Government and the Embassy.
